Applications for the Builders’ Support Facility have now closed.

The Builders’ Support Facility will give eligible residential builders in WA access to interest-free loans of up to $300,000 to help complete unfinished homes that were commenced prior to 1 January 2022.

The Builders' Support Facility (the Facility) was introduced to address delayed construction timeframes and rising costs, to help get homeowners into their new homes sooner. Applications for the Facility, managed by the SBDC, closed on 30 April 2024.

The interest-free loan for residential builders will be paid in instalments to promote completions. A maximum of $300,000 (up to $60,000 per home) will be available to each successful applicant, repayable within five years from execution of the Deed of Loan. Each home for which a loan application under the Facility is successful must reach practical completion within 12 months from execution of the Deed of Loan.
